As our team headed to London yesterday morning to attend the celebratory CN Agency Awards – where we were shortlisted for Employer of the Year – we were delighted to share with them the news that we had also just been shortlisted TWICE for the C&IT Awards Automotive Event of the Year.
There have been times over the last 18 months or so when we had real concerns about whether our events would even be able to take place, so to have been recognised by our industry peers is very humbling. And we are in great company, as the quality of the other shortlisted entries is simply extraordinary.
The two events we put forward this year could not have been more different.
Villa Escalade was a 15-day hybrid experiential activation that took place in a private villa in the Emirates Hills, Dubai in November 2020. The objective of the event was to reveal the vehicle to a large audience of GCC and local media, customers and prospective customers, and it kicked off with a live broadcast reveal of the vehicle from the villa itself. https://nobleevents.ae/event-work/gm-cadillac-villa-escalade/
Honda UK wanted to launch the all new Honda e – their first electric car – in a fun and inspiring way despite the pandemic. As with all press launches, the key objective was to get as much coverage as possible in the current climate and, as hosts of the first Covid-19 automotive press launch the previous month, the Honda PR team was keen to demonstrate that the brand was continuing to be at the forefront of the industry. https://nobleevents.com/event-work/honda-e-launch/
Both events were of course operated within the relevant Covid guidelines but achieved their stated objectives in terms of attendance and coverage.
The C&IT Awards winners will be announced in London on Friday 17th September 2021.
